[Drama Review #35] - All In 올인 真愛賭注

All In 올인 becomes the thirty-fifth drama I watched. Sometimes it's fun to pick out an old, but classic drama to watch. I had seen several dramas in which many of the actors and actresses from All In would subsequently take main leads in. The main lead is played by Lee Byung Hun, who would later play the lead in IRIS. The female lead is Song Hye Kyo, from both Autumn Tale and Full House. The other male lead is Ji Sung, who I recently watched in Protect the Boss. The secondary female lead is Winter Sonata's Park Sol Mi. Even the characters outside the main cast are familiar to me. The girl who plays Song Hye Kyo's younger version is Han Ji Min, who would take a main role in Resurrection. Fueki Yuko would reunite with Lee Byung Hun six years later in IRIS. Lee Deok Hwa and Park Sang Myun from History of the Salaryman are also important characters in All In. Aside from these last two who were already seniors in the acting industry, All In would become one a stepping stone for their acting careers.

[Drama Review #34] - Protect the Boss 보스를 지켜라 守護老闆

For my thirty-fourth drama, I picked Protect the Boss 보스를 지켜라. Protect the Boss was a drama I've been wanting to watch, but didn't get a chance to watch until recently. Being a fan of the idol girl group A Pink, I was already familiar with one of the main songs that they contributed to the Protect the Boss soundtrack. Also, the two main leads, Ji Sung and Choi Kang Hee were guests on an episode of Running Man. I thought they were fun to watch and like many of the previous dramas I watched due to a guest appearance on Running Man, I wanted to watch Protect the Boss.

[Drama Review #30] - Fashion King 패션왕 流行王

Fashion King 패션왕 is the thirtieth drama I've seen. Fashion King brings together two of my favorite female celebrities: Shin Se Kyung and SNSD's Kwon Yu Ri. Fashion King would become the debut drama for Kwon Yu Ri. The male leads, Yoo Ah In and Lee Je Hoon, were relatively new to me. Nevertheless, Fashion King was a drama I had a lot of interest in. A portion of Fashion King's footage was shot in New York City. As a native New Yorker, I was very excited to see how my home city would be featured in Fashion King. With both actresses and my hometown together, it was absolutely inevitable that I add Fashion King to my list of watched dramas.

[Drama Review #28] - High Kick Through the Roof 지붕 뚫고 하이킥 穿透屋頂的High Kick

High Kick Through the Roof 지붕 뚫고 하이킥 is the twenty-eighth drama I've watched. High Kick Through the Roof is the sequel to the first Unstoppable High Kick, although the two stories are completely unrelated. It's also the second daily drama and my first sitcom drama. I decided to watch this drama when I noticed many of my new favorite celebrities were featured in this drama. That list includes: Shin Se Kyung, Yoo In Na, Lee Kwang Soo, Hwang Jung Eum and Beast's Lee Ki Kwang. That list doesn't even include the several actors and actresses that made guest appearances on High Kick Through the Roof. Many of the actors and actresses in this drama rose to fame after starring in High Kick Through the Roof. I felt that it would be nice to watch this drama and see where a number of my newest favorite actors and actresses started from.

[Drama Review #27] - Secret Garden 시크릿 가든 秘密花園

The twenty-seventh drama is Secret Garden 시크릿 가든. Secret Garden was a highly popular drama in during the late 2010 and early 2011. This drama would bring together Hyun Bin who I watched in The Snow Queen and Kim Sa Rang who I saw in A Love to Kill. After hearing about this drama from friends, I read a synopsis and was very interested in this drama. However, I hesitated a little after finishing City Hunter, which I felt was too amazing. As a result, I was a little late with starting Secret Garden. Nevertheless, Secret Garden would also become one of my favorite dramas.
