[Drama Review #43] - Emergency Couple 응급남녀 急诊男女

My first medical drama and overall forty-third drama is Emergency Couple 응급남녀. Emergency Couple is my third drama starring Song Ji Hyo and whom was the initial reason for showing interest in this series. There was a scene featuring both Song Ji Hyo and her Running Man colleague, Leessang's Gary, which drew in a Monday Couple fan like myself to want to see this drama. As a scientist in the medical field, I never really had too much interest towards medical dramas. However, I felt I should eventually give medical dramas a try and chose Emergency Couple to be my first medical drama series. In the end, Emergency Couple was a great choice and a drama series I highly recommend watching.

[Drama Review #39] - Crime Squad 강력반 強力班

For my thirty-ninth drama, I picked out Crime Squad 강력반. Crime Squad reunites the main leads, Song Il Gook and Song Ji Hyo, who previously co-starred in another series. As with a number of drama series I chose to watch, I selected Crime Squad because I wanted to watch an actress I liked who was on Running Man. In this case, I wanted to watch Song Ji Hyo. I first saw her star in Goong, which is about five years before she filmed Crime Squad. Crime Squad is also my first Korean police drama. The only police dramas I've seen were scenes from Hong Kong police dramas that I saw growing up as a kid.

[Drama Review #9] - Goong 궁 宮

Goong 궁, also known as Princess Hours, enters the list as the ninth drama I've watched. The main female is Yoon Eun Hye, former member of old-school girl group Baby V.O.X. She's someone I've seen a lot on the popular Korean variety show X-Man. Goong is a drama that most people watched because of Yoon Eun Hye. Goong is also Yoon Eun Hye's first major role. She was very successful actress and with very good reason. The second female lead, Song Ji Hyo is another one of my favorite actresses. She was an MC for the weekly music program, Inkigayo, as well as a regular member of the variety show Running Man.
